Earning a law degree at Touro Law will open new opportunities for you for a fulfilling career. And as a result, we offer scholarships to at least 90% of our incoming students. In addition, during your second, third and fourth years, you have the opportunity to earn additional scholarship dollars, whether it is through your excellent performance in your classes, or by applying for our name scholarships.
We have over 70 scholarships that have been accumulated by individual donors who want to assist our students in completing law school with the least amount of debt possible. In addition to the scholarships, you have the opportunity to earn some are fellowships that will allow you to work in a public interest organization or for a government agency and be compensated for your summer work. There are also work study opportunities available for you to work here at the law school.
What I have learned and I have seen over the years is that Touro has provided so many opportunities to students that have a need, that students that need to be placed on the same playing field as others so that they can one come into the law school but to also thrive as a law student. So it's important for us to remember that we always have to give back not only us as alumni giving back to newer students and other newer attorneys, but also the importance of Touro investing in their law students when they come here financially, as well as from an educational perspective.
