At Touro Law Center, you’ll learn how to think critically, how to solve problems effectively, and how to practically apply the legal theory you’re taught in the classroom to the real world of lawyering.
JD Programs - Full-Time, Part-Time, and FlexTIme
The Juris Doctor (JD) degree program at the Law Center combines an innovative, enriching curriculum with flexible scheduling to meet the diverse needs of qualified candidates.
Touro Law offers full-time and part-time programs as well as a FlexTime JD Program. The FlexTime program was designed to accommodate the schedules of students who might typically enter a part-time law program, but need even more flexibility for work or family obligations. The program provides this increased flexibility through uniquely tailored combinations of online and in-person instructional components. In-person classes are held on Sundays throughout the semester. Beyond the required coursework, students may create their own unique law school experience, choosing from a curriculum that includes an extensive array of practice-oriented offerings and opportunities for hands-on learning – including clinics, skills courses, and externships.
Master of Laws (LLM) for U.S. Law Graduates
Additionally, Touro Law offers an LLM to students already possessing a law degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved law school in the United States.
Designed to provide upper-level training and education to students in the law, the program provides advanced education with maximum flexibility.
Foreign Law Graduates Program
Touro Law offers a two-year JD program for foreign law graduates.
The program is for students who hold a professional law degree from an educational institution outside of the United States.
